We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. This statement covers www.overviewroofing.net.
What you can do on this website
- Zoom in up to 200% without text spilling off the screen, and use the site on any size of screen.
- Move around every page using just a keyboard, with a clearly visible outline showing where you are.
- Skip straight to the main content with the "Skip to content" link.
- Listen to the site with a screen reader: pages have a clear heading structure, photos have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden.
- Fill in our forms using the visible labels on every field. If something needs fixing, a message under the field explains what.
- Turn off animation: if your device is set to reduce motion, the site switches its animations off.
- Tap phone numbers and email addresses to call or write to us.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard recommended for UK websites. Text and buttons are designed with strong colour contrast, and nothing relies on colour alone.
Things we know about
- Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. It usually runs invisibly. If it ever asks you to confirm you're human and you can't complete it, please call or email us instead.
- The roof tile guide uses drawn illustrations of each tile. Each one has a written name and description, but the drawings themselves aren't described in detail.
- Links to Checkatrade, Google, Facebook and WhatsApp go to other websites and apps, which we don't control.
Getting information in another way
If you'd find it easier to talk things through, call us on 0330 633 5952, any time. We can take your enquiry over the phone, send information by email so you can read it in your own way, or explain your quote in person at your inspection.
Tell us about a problem
If you find something on this website hard to use, please tell us on 0330 633 5952 or at info@overviewroofing.net. Let us know the page and what went wrong, and we'll do our best to fix it and help you in the meantime.
How we tested this website
We checked the website with automated accessibility testing tools, and by hand using only a keyboard, with reduced motion turned on, and on phones, tablets and computers. We check it again when we make changes, and we'll review this statement at least once a year.
